Art and Outdoor Therapy
Art and Outdoor Therapy is a guided, evidence-based session that uses creative process in outdoor settings to support self-awareness, emotional processing and practical change. We work with natural materials and simple art media within a psychotherapeutic framework, with a focus on what emerges in the moment — not on artistic skill.
Sessions take place in natural locations along the Hawkesbury/Pittwater environment. Access may include a short transfer by river to a quieter setting when clinically appropriate, so the work can unfold with fewer distractions and more support from the environment.
This format can be helpful for anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, self-development and emotional regulation, depending on individual needs and suitability.
